Basic Gun Dog

What you teach at a young age will be expanded on to be a finished dog

4 to 6 months of age     

                           Basic Obedience – sit, come, heel, down

                           Intro to Birds – play with them with a clipped wing bird

                           Intro to guns – shoot a blank pistol over them

              Takes about 4 to 6 weeks
